With PayPal, I assume you have 2FA on a personal account, hence can't use the same cell phone on your business account correct? If so, given It's the same payment system, I would've thought the same cell phone could be shared.

Yes, tbh I never set it up on the second account but it is okay. I didn't lose anything as the retard switched my steam password when I was afk for like 2 minutes and I just recovered my account and changed the password. At the same time a friend randomly sent me this reddit link and I knew instantly what happened.

Glad I stopped using it past 2013.

I recommend using LogMeIn as an paid alternative or window's remote desktop connection.

I'd use LogMeIn if anything. RDC looks legit, but I've been wary of it since Win 8. Too much can go wrong.

Awesome. Wonder who's behind the hack.

I guess I now have to find something else to help customers.

It can be somewhat distressing when your account gets compromised. Luckily In your case, the effects were minimal.

If the attacker/hacker was security-minded In a sense to prevent the recovery of the account, after compromising It, he could've deleted the recovery email address and cell phone number (and any other recovery option) associated with the account. That's provided ONLY the currently-used password (which the attacker would already have) Is required to authorize such changes.

It's good thing that I don't have TV installed on any of my new devices. It had began to work slow for me in the last few months.
