Win 10 is not a so bad. But i think it needs more updates. W10 have a lot of problems (but W7 have problems too).
I vote for the XP, best windows os in my opinion.
And sure i vote for a linux platform as the second os.

I run Windows 10 only because of Video Games
I don't like it very much, and I think it's absolutely horrid in terms of productivity. I get nothing done on Windows 10 (which may be mostly due to all the distractions I have on there), whereas it's much easier to get work done on my i3 tiling setup.

This is an important distinction, definitely. The choice of one's OS is more subjective than anything.

I do my gaming on windows 7 and have never had any issues. I don't think the minor performance tweak that you get with Windows 10 is worth all the privacy you give up.

Tempted to upgrade mine. My start button disappeared and I could never work out how to get it back. Hate using win8/8.1.
