RE: People Lying in a Relationship - Jiggly - 05-06-2016

Okay, so my two friends (both gaming pals) got together a few months back. So he has been saying he's about 20-21, we all believe him since it kind of fits the fact that he works and stuff. They date, she's 20, they do stuff (this is all online. Nothing happened in person). She started getting worried about stuff, since he mentioned his friends cheated on their girlfriends and he was the 'lookout' at a party, then asked for his number since she was debating deleting kik cause of other things. He didn't want to give it to her, until she had to practically guilt it out of him. Note they were in a relationship for months at this point.

So, they both take a break as things got stressful. He told her that his name was changed due to him being adopted and not having any real family. So she got curious, searched his real name and found his Facebook. He told her that he was at a wedding, turns out that a school in his local area was having prom that night. There's a picture of him and two friends, all having prom dates. She got heartbroken as this happened while they were dating. She searched his phone number, turns out it was owned by someone with the same last name as his real name, which is odd since he doesn't have family. She also started to piece other things that she didn't pay much heed to. So, he lied about his age, he's only in high school. She could get into legal trouble with this if he decides to ever try to blackmail her or something with all the stuff they did.

I am absolutely pissed and disappointed in this guy, as I thought of him as a brother. Turns out, he's been lying about so much. So, what do you guys think about people lying in a relationship.

This is such a nasty thing to do to someone. Have you ever heard of the show Catfish? That's what happened to her... My feels go out to her.

Oni and I took a risk dating, however, we had each others mobiles and a lot more info and video chat. There was a lot of evidence that we had prior to meeting. It was the biggest and best risk I've ever taken. However, dating online is not to be taken lightly.

Why being gullible is dangerous/bad. @Jiggly and I met online and we've been dating almost 3 years (and she's moving here in a few months). I would have questioned any of the aforementioned oddities.

Absolutely. I would never have flown to the US by myself if you hadn't shared what you did about yourself. I was very lucky with Oni. It's not always the way things go.

This said, sometimes it turns out pretty well.

Speaking of good online relationships, that's pretty cool. Gratz on nearly 3, you dorks Tongue

Haha thanks! And yes, we are a dorky couple. No judge.

That's the most aggravating mindset.

Lol no. I'm actually the one that uses the whip.
I just don't care for secrets between us. What's the point in having them? It'll come to light eventually, whether you want it to or not.

And also, you're such an immature little piece of shit, you know that?

You're such an autistic little shit you know that? Don't start throwing insults just because somebody disagrees with your narrow minded cuck ass.

I'm not talking about big 'I fucked your sister' type shit, if you're not a cunt in the first place you shouldn't have anything like that to hide. I'm talking about more petty things like relationships with exes or personal things.

Stop bring to immature and try to actually discuss an issue before you start swinging you fucking child. .
