You may want to add the following:
Forums require money.
Most forums die due to lack of money, activity or time.
Promotion forums are another source of advertisements.
Great tutorial/Information otherwise.

Yeah I touched some on the money but forums are a huge money pit, especially in saturated niches due to the fact you need to advertise it a lot more for people to take notice.
