Really mate?
Here in Greece we call it balls, as long as you have the balls you are a man. (Not talking about toys I mean male testicles).
You may have a big penis but unless you know how to use it you're not more manly than a child playing with sticks.

That's actually pretty smart. Especially "You may have a big penis but unless you know how to use it you're not more manly than a child playing with sticks."

You're not trolling me right?

No. I'm being serious, I've never actually thought of it like that ever before when discussing what makes a boy a man.

Then lots of respect to you! I salute!

I believe a boy becomes a man when he realizes that blood doesn't make you family, loyalty does. Family is an extremely important thing to me, and that doesn't mean my blood family. All in all, when a boy can mentally support himself, keep himself up and motivated, to do things, wants a future, is when he becomes a man. It could even take him till his early thirty's to figure it out, and until then, he's a boy.

When you can grow muscles on your muscles you're a true man tbh

Personally, when he has sex.

I'm being for real, can you please go away? This is a "serious discussion" thread.
Serious discussion? Really?

I don't think sex makes a man. The idea behind it is if he's old enough to have sex, he's old enough to have more responsibilities, but in reality those are pseudo-responsibilities. He doesn't gain any more responsibility after he's had sex, unless he got a girl pregnant. I think a boy becomes a man when he starts making decisions for himself. I'm not talking about decisions like "Do I go to a party this weekend?" But, more the decisions about their future. Making decisions about their academic career, and even their professional career. Making decisions about where they're going to live, what they're going to do with their lives. You may see this as simply a transition from being a kid to an adult, but isn't that really what becoming a man is? The transition of a boy becoming a man. Likewise with women.

I dunno, that is just my opinion. Some middle schoolers near me got busted for giving BJs at the back of the bus. No way does a middle school boy having sex make him a man.
