DOS Mario was the best ever! Anyone have download link for original DOS Mario, not remake or edited, I'll run it on win98 . I can't find it anywhere on the internet :/

Any way to convince you into finding wolfenstien for me? I've searched high and low...

Now ladies and gentleman let me take you back in time where we enjoyed one class session of computer courses a day (mainly typing correctly and power point etc) I'm talking WAAAAAAY back to the 90s Smile

No fancy trick or gimmicks... You start at point a, end at point b (if you didn't become sick and die along the way) and this game tried to fuck you every way possible!!!

Just a some game to teach you mathematics and grammar skills. The teachers used to trick us into playing this and we all ended up loving it..

This was a time before internet was in schools (student level) and fancy smart phones or tablets were around. These games were top notch at this time and those gigantic machines? Those were once top of the line computers lol

Alright, this is long and 90% Apple II stuff but just bear with me because there's a game at the end.

See where the magazines stop having spine labels on the bottom? This is from the late 80s to the mid 90s when only a few magazines like Nibble could keep themselves alive due to popularity.

Nice games you picked, too - I think I played Oregon Trail a billion times through back in elementary school but haven't touched it for a while even with having my MECC disks, that brings back some fun memories... Number Muncher I never had but I do remember seeing it now and then.

Finally, if you do want Wolfenstein, I'm assuming you mean Castle or Beyon Castle Wolfenstein. Unless you have ADTPro to get disk images over to your IIs sure you'll have to emulate for now, but check out one of the better Software Directories, asimov, where most people in the community go to. It should be available in /games/action/ - just CTRL+F wolfenstein and it should come up anyways.

Still, that oldest II I have is 1979, we can go older...

...but I'll leave that for its own thing since I'm fairly frustrated at trying to get more than four people into TSS/8 at once.

Now, for DOS games as in MS-DOS...

Terminal Velocity was always cool, that's about it - with the sequels, well Fury3 was pretty much the same game just made for Win95 and Hellbender was alright.

I have to wonder if anyone here ever messed with ZZT?

Sure it's primitive and in EGA of all things, but man I remember ZZT right next to Rogue as games to play when I was little. You controlled that little smiley face through adventures, made your own in the object-oriented programming bit they included, and was just a lot of fun - I never really see many people who recognize it and even less know that it's what started off Epic Games, but man that was cool stuff when it was new.
