Just the opinions of a art failure, feel free to disregard them. But it seems pretty good.
I can guarantee it won't be as spacy, as I've been doing the actual HTML/CSS. I'd like to hear more suggestions.

This theme has been here a very long time and it is time for a change. @crow spent a fair amount of time on this mockup, so the least you can do is give constructive criticism. Otherwise, it's sort of unhelpful, as you aren't giving much information on what to improve.

Here's my "constructive criticism", in order that I noticed it:

What I like about it:

EDIT: I'm not saying that Crow's a bad designer, I'm just saying that I dislike the new theme.

Like the logo change.
Dislike the type used for "Sinisterly" in the header.
Dislike the layout of the navigation bar.
I think the user controls on the right of the header need tweaking.

Are there anything new that we'd be looking forward to, except for the new look?
Currently, I have mixed feelings for the new theme.
EDIT: Where will Akane sit on that theme? Also, I don't think her shiny design won't fit the theme anymore.

I like the new logo the new added details to it makes it more appealing. But don't think that new font matches it too thin.
Maybe these fonts would look nicer

But don't really like this flat navigation menu and its way too bright and Flat style is overused these days... Of course it looks nice but too mainstream wouldn't make website to stand out from others since now wherever you go there is flat style designs.
And the header itself is bit empty unless its not completed.

I love the new logo, and it fits the new theme quite well. The theme I'm a bit more cautious about, but I do like it more than most forums' themes. I wouldn't say it's better than the old one, but that might just be me being conservative
Onwards and upwards, and I think this theme is a good way to go ^^

1) Remove the dot on the logo/title
2) Change the background picture on the heading
3) Keep the old logo. It fits the theme better. It is better.
Apart from that, it looks pretty sick.

As far as spacing is concerned we can tweak it endlessly once its all coded up.
Another thing to consider is that parallax scrolling doesn't come through in a mockup.
there will be lots of nice (but not too flashy) CSS effects I plan to implement to make everything look much more smooth.
Something I want you all to focus on is maybe some UI features you guys are lacking currently or stuff you want to see implemented.
What do you think would make the site easier and more streamlined to use?
Maybe some drop down menus or certain links somewhere easier to find.
Please post more constructive suggestions and criticism.
