I think if you remove that bit properly (not like my attempt) it should work, cause he doesn't seem to have a problem with the other code.
It was written for python version 2.7, 3.4 changed a lot of syntax so the two versions are in fact incompatible you could modify it to run in 3.4 though

Yup this was written for Python 2.7.6 I'll look into it and update the color codes. Thank you @chmod for that note I didn't know that was an issue.
