Illusion at that time was Admin at another forum as well called EliteGuys, I remember this very well since I used to be a mod over there. That forum has since shutdown for reasons I don't know yet.
Before that though, he was mod at l33thackers until ge got demoted. I must say, he has been a mod and admin at more places than anyone else I've ever seen.

You clearly havent met Xires or myself lol. Xires still has his hands in EVERYTHING it seems. Well, everything that isnt LQ/Skiddish. I took a few years off and backpacked around Australia so im not as embedded as I used to be but ive been moderating and admin'ing hacking forums since about 2000/2001. And that first one used to be the largest hacking forum on the internet lol (although this was when the internet was much younger, we still boasted hundreds of thousands of members)

Damn, It's been over a decade and you're still going strong.
In my case, I left my mod position on EG because of school, it got to the point where whenever I'd get on that forum I'd only end up doing mod work (dealing with spam bots and so on).

Yup. Sage had problems and HC would go down so I made a promise to save it. If Bluedog for whatever reason wouldn't be able to keep HC up, I'd do my best to fulfil my promise and keep it up.

When I took over HC, Anon skids were attacking HC big time. This resulted in a few problems, first, we needed proper DDoS protection, which wasn't cheap (and as Bluedog stated, HC doesn't really earn any money except for donations). Also the community has shrunk and we had MAX 100 visitors per day ( righ now when I'm writing this, there are over 2 900 visitors pas 24 hours ). So I naturally had to find a cheaper way to keep the community up, that resulted in tons of unreliable hosts and then along came Bluedog

I don't know any forum named EliteGuys
and I was never a mod on l33thackers, there is however, some other person whose nick is Illusion... I was first as far as I know though!

Damn, I was certian that you were him. Though you are right, the guy I'm talking about wrote his username as : Illusion : I assumed that maybe you switched out I with 1 just for the hell of it. Guess I was wrong.
