Nice Smile You're welcome

You should a changelog for your tool as well. I didn't find it on your github as well. Also instead of including the whole of the dictionary file in the folder why don't you ask the user to give the path of the file and then you can work with it.

I'm working on the changelog right now and it'll be up by tomorrow Smile For the other suggestion, I'll work on that too. Dank!

RE: [HC Official] T0rn - Hash Cracker V.2 - Ligeti - 04-07-2014

Hello guys

I tried to compile the code on Kali and I failed...

First error was:
Quote:In file included from main.cpp:22:0:
clearscreenl.h:2:18: fatal error: term.h: No such file or directory
compilation terminated.

I tried to fix it (had to install ncurses-devel ncurses), wasn't easy to be honest... because of Debian core!
So now I get this error:
Quote:main.cpp:42:12: error: new declaration ‘void pause()’
In file included from clearscreenl.h:1:0,
from main.cpp:22:
/usr/include/unistd.h:466:12: error: ambiguates old declaration ‘int pause()’
main.cpp: In function ‘void menu()’:
main.cpp:108:18: error: ‘EXIT_SUCCESS’ was not declared in this scope
main.cpp:108:30: error: ‘exit’ was not declared in this scope
main.cpp: In function ‘void verifyHash(std:Confusedtring)’:
main.cpp:164:38: warning: deprecated conversion from string constant to ‘char*’ [-Wwrite-strings]
main.cpp: In function ‘void pause()’:
main.cpp:286:12: error: new declaration ‘void pause()’
In file included from clearscreenl.h:1:0,
from main.cpp:22:
/usr/include/unistd.h:466:12: error: ambiguates old declaration ‘int pause()’

And from https://github.com/Ex094/HashCrackerV.2 (or README.md) I quote:
Quote:Also I've added OS compatibility for MAC OSX, Linux and Windows which I think was limited to only one OS in my previous version.

Can you help me with this error? (anyone)

Thanks

To get rid of the EXIT_SUCCESS errors you will need to include

#include <cstdlib>

As for the other errors and warnings I'm not sure about them myself

RE: [HC Official] T0rn - Hash Cracker V.2 - Ligeti - 04-08-2014

Thanks @chmod

I find it strange to include a whole library just to say that the program exit with 1 or 0 (I am exaggerating), but I think you get my point!

Also I find it wired that the code did work for @Ex094, the only way I see it is it was compiled with Visual C++ then yes I would understand why it worked (because of the precompiled headers... maybe!).

Anyway... I am going to give it another try today.

Thanks

RE: [HC Official] T0rn - Hash Cracker V.2 - Ex094 - 04-08-2014

Well that is weird! I tried it on BackBox and it gave me the same errors, Worked on Ubuntu after a little editing but on BackBox it seems to be stuck on these errors. I'll try to come up with a solution in the mean time if any one has a solution please do share! Dank!

RE: [HC Official] T0rn - Hash Cracker V.2 - chmod - 04-08-2014

@Ligeti I'm not a c++ coder so the solution I found was provided by searching, I would think there is more than likely a better way of doing it. It was just a workaround to try and get it to compile.

Thanks my friend... but your solution didn't solve the problem (I tested it)... what distro are you using?

I think I can solve this problem if I put more effort in it, but I wanted to make sure that I am not the only one facing these issues... according to Ex094 I am right (I am not the only one).

@shp0ngl3 did you test the code? (you are using Mint as far as I know)

Thanks
