Edit: You can use a hash instead, although this still won't prevent some reverse engineers to crack your program, it will make it harder than just opening a hex editor. You have to hash the user input and compare it with your own hash. Use a secure algorithm for that, i.e. scrypt.

well i am trying to crack the password of this file

i have downloaded HEX EDitor can you please explain me how to crack
when i open this file in hex editor i am getting this

Why do you assume the program does the same as you wrote in your first post?
That program uses anti-debugging techniques, so it can't be done with a hex editor, nor does it work just like that with olly. You will have to find an experienced reverse engineer to give it a shot (which I am not).

RE: hacking the exe file - Coder-san - 04-17-2013

It was not obfuscated, and inside it was a hard-coded password.
I wonder why do you want it. I won't reveal the password since it's somebody's property.

Huh? I must be blind. I didn't see a hardcoded password (only a public key and something that looks like a serial, but doesn't work), nor could I run it properly in olly.
