I learnt PHP from ebooks and by looking at codes made by others. I didn't even go for video tutorials(though I know they're very handy at times).
I think I should have mentioned some reference ebooks for PHP.

Added some reference ebooks. Can't add links to them because warez are usually deleted when detected in web hosts by host providers. Its easily available if you google them.
And added one more website for learning PHP, w3schools, they have exercises for practise.
