Depends what you want to do/learn.

I haven't read the first two books. The first one is a certification, though.

"Hacking- The Art of Exploitation" (as well as The Art of Deception, which was mentioned here too) is pretty interesting in my opinion. Especially if you want to get a taste of hacking. But it is more for entertainment than for learning things.

Metasploit and Shellcoders handbook are relatively special topics. You will know if you need them.

the first four books have some obsolete stuff i have their pdf. but the last two are great. especially the metasploit book's a classic

2nd edition procedural?? what i mean is, we need to get read the 1st edition? or can i jump to read 2nd edition even without knowing 1st edition..
