RE: need some suggestion - slbmeh - 09-04-2012 Quite a few things wrong that I see with the code you have. The "Element" object does not have value in it's prototype by default, nor do you modify it's prototype. Element is what is returned when you call something like "document.getObjectById('first')", you are better off using a built in DOM manipulation function that can modify the inner html. Also, not quite sure why you chose to keep your processing data within header tags, an input field seems like it would be more suitable for storing user input. The hidden="hidden" XHTML quirk isn't supposed to work the way you are using it, and doesn't work that way everywhere. A hidden input type is intended exactly for what you are trying to do there.
