I'd like a tutorial clearing up my misconceptions about how to portforward with metasploit so one can exploit a victim over the internet not just on the same local network. I'm trying to test it with a friend who gave me consent. We have already covered some local network atks with metasploit but trying to move forward now.

BTW I've found a couple tutorials on the subject googling but they are unclear.

I would suggest that the basics of monitoring wireless networks were posted, showing the general use
and application of for instance "airodump-ng".

I consider that to be the initial tool that anyone interested in wireless networks should become acquainted with.

RE: Tutorial Suggestions. - 9toes - 04-22-2011

i think bruteforce is better (bay be it takes 34days but it does it )

RE: Tutorial Suggestions. - TAPE - 04-23-2011

Ahh... thats where the opinions vary Wink

Bruteforce is a sure thing, given the time.. like a couple of thousand years.. literally ...
a more focussed approach using a focussed wordlist is the way to go Wink

I will see what I may be able to come up with or link to should I get one going on my blog.

hi,
I want to know about this "client isolation" thing and bypassing or doing whatever attacks to sniff the data ( to be honest i dont need their personal data like that of facebook, gmail etc. I only need the login username and password of the hotspot). I have been working on this for more than 3 weeks now but havent had any success. I can provide you with some info if you are interested [But i guess you know more than 75% of the stuffs i did without me telling you. Smile ]
