Run it in vmware and buy a wireless usb dongle. The one I recommend that will work perfect is the tp-link TL-WN821N. It's very very good for cracking wpa and wep and sniffing with really fact injection speed.

ok i did this and have it set up and working i been trying to use ettercap to arp the network and use a dns spoof but i cant seem to get it to work

i tryed to use sniff bridge
did host scan host
i know what tagets i wanted so i used T to selet my targets and entered there ips target 1 gateway target 2 the system im posioning i started sniffer started mitm sniff network arp attack then went to plugins and double clicked on dns_spoof i got a lil * next to it

i know it needs to be edited i added "www.facebook.com" A 192.168.1.5 my ip not really but call it my ip i just noticed that the fourms added a http to this so i put it in quotes

also added *.facebook.com A 192.168.1.5

nothing worked i tryed to use the microsoft one thats there but it still goes to microsoft

so i must be missin a step here some wheres

Ok first of all it is unified sniff.

Second thing in the etter.dns do this

*.*.* A 192.168.1.15 the * mean anything and every website that hey browse to
*.* A 192.168.1.15
*.*.*.* A 192.168.1.15

Third you need to edit you etter.conf in order to arp poison the network.

nano etter.conf

Now look for this and remove the # sign.

After you remove the # sign it should look like this.
