This would be good if you could write an autorun script and put both the cmd.exe and script on a USB, and be able to plug it in to the back while the teacher or whoever has admin priveledges, and replace it then, leaving it that way until they log off. Then you jump on that computer when they leave.

it doesn't work. "the disk is write protected or file is being used". any idea how to work this out? btw, i have another "escape".

- when computer boot up, enter "safe mode" (by pressing F8 repeatedly before windows logo)
- choose "safe mode"
- just watch "the matrix" Biggrin
- if there's a messagebox, just click on "yes"
- click on the "administrator" account
- run cmd
- type: net user
- see who has the administrator privilege (see in the left column)
- type: net user <the_username> *
- set the password (your desired password for this username)
- done... Smile

Theoretically this works because sticky keys is executed at a kernel level... therefore runs as the system user and is independent as to which user is logged in if any... the problem is that you need to replace a system file... therefore your only way to make this work is to have the level of access you are trying to achieve...

@kazekage: it would only work locally... network administrators are set and configured within active directory... in order to create one you need to be one...

@chipp: safe mode doesn't give you admin access... you still have to log in... it's just a large amount of people never bother to set their administrator password leaving their computer open... you can do the same exact thing without booting in to safe mode... safe mode just gives you the nice little feature of showing hidden accounts if you happen to use the windows logon screen...

so how can we do that without enter the safe mode?

You just log on to the administrator account.
