But then some people wouldn't have access to it. I say it be optional to all users, so even if you're not upgraded but in groups, you could still show them off.

Most normal members don't even have a second user group, so I think maybe Legend and Bronze+.

yes, this would be very cool. However, it should also scale down the badges the more you have displayed.
