We then mix it up with the rest of the chili stuff and put it in the fridge overnight at 35°F. We start cooking it slowly at 7am the next morning and it's ready to go by 10am for opening. So yeah, the meat is "old", but to be honest there's not really anything wrong with it. Granted, you guys can't be as bad as what's going on with McDonald's right now. RE: Starbucks Secret Menu - Jiggly - 08-01-2014 Oh my word... I want a Zebra Mocha now. Thanks Oni. >.> I do love companies who offer these secret menu items. Or when you're a regular and you get special off menu foods since they know you so well. RE: Starbucks Secret Menu - Shebang - 08-04-2014 (08-01-2014, 11:15 PM)Jiggly Wrote: Oh my word... I can't do that at Wendy's though. However, when I buy food, some of the sandwich makers (one of them is a friend's mom) add an extra patty or bacon for free. RE: Starbucks Secret Menu - Nyx - 08-06-2014 I always hated Starbucks, but since one literally opened 2 and a half minutes walk away from me, I might actually try out this menu! Thanks @Oni Do it! Why did you hate Starbucks? It's not as expensive in America, I think? RE: Starbucks Secret Menu - Oni - 08-06-2014 (08-06-2014, 11:47 AM)Jiggly Wrote: Do it! I know so many people that do. I've never been a regular at any places. (08-06-2014, 11:48 AM)Oni Wrote: I don't drink coffee, although I don't hate it. I wasn't aiming that at you hun xD But thanks for the reply all the same. You're not into Tea/Coffee which is fair enough. Although, I want you to try Tea the way British folk drink it. I'd be interested to see your reaction! RE: Starbucks Secret Menu - Nyx - 08-06-2014 (08-06-2014, 11:47 AM)Jiggly Wrote: Do it! Why did you hate Starbucks? It's not as expensive in America, I think? Their coffee is still way overpriced (like 5 - 6$ a cup) and it doesn't even taste all that good. I will be trying the secret menu out, but if it isn't very good I'll just stick to my Tassimo. RE: Starbucks Secret Menu - MiS - 08-06-2014 Here's a small secret if your guys' local Starbucks is doing the treat reciept: Buy a Matcha + Water (nothing else added) before 2pm. Two things will happen, either the cashier won't charge you and you get a free drink, or they'll charge you 80 cents for a veinti size plus a receipt. If the former happens, just come back after an hour or when the cashiers shift. If you don't like it, you can just throw it out outside. Later on, you can get your $2 grande cold drink after 2pm - you just paid $2.80 total for two drinks. |
