Honestly, I'd rather look douchy than risking losing my relatively new phone by having it fall out of my pocket, leaving it somewhere, dropping it, etc.

Well I believe that if you can't keep hold of your phone then you shouldn't have one. I have never had my phone fall out of my pocket so I don't think that would really be an issue. Holsters are just, idk like tacky. Almost like a fanny pack.

HTC just has better product designs and their ROM is much better. I got sick of the plastic backing and patheticness Samsung has limited itself to. I was a pretty big fanboy until I got an M8. Stick with HTC and get Android Revolution on that shit.

The only problem being is I can't afford it. I want the m8 so bad but can't afford it and I'm getting bored of the m7 so I'm swapping it for the s4

Are you talking about the Note or the Galaxy s4? I know for sure that the Galaxy s4 has a built in IR sensor which amazing if you have a lot of remotes around the house. Or if your school has tvs and projectors which can be turned on and off with these smart phones... xD

Not sure which is better there.

Trust me - I need a phone. I just didn't really have any control of which phone I got, because it was a gift from someone. I love my Galaxy Note 2 much more than my old ancient iPhone 3G or iPhone 3GS, which are already broken - the features, the customization, everything. But the size of the Note just isn't right for normal pocket carrying for certain persons, and I refuse to look like those people who have their phones sticking out their pockets, just waiting for someone to steal it, or even just naturally drop and break/forget where it was.

I really likes the Galaxy series. its not too big and there are lots of protective cases for the phone. I've had my s3 for around two years now and only recently has my audio port stopped working. everything else works perfectly

I was actually hoping to get the S3 or S4 before I received the Note 2 as a gift. I used to own an S2 actually, and I think I loved it even more than the Note, but it just died for no apparent reason - I can't even get it to hold a charge. I can at least look forward to saving up money the latest in the series 3 years from now.

I get a free upgrade next month! Don't you have some sort of upgrade system with your carrier?

I do, but my family usually "steals" my upgrades since I used to just get hand-me-downs from my siblings or dad.
