Well yeah, Pebble actually started it all. So everyone's copying them. Hopefully apple will finally make something worth buying. I've been disappointed in them since Steve Jobs died. Way better then any other phone. RE: Google Glass - Skitstep - 02-16-2014 (02-16-2014, 09:13 PM)Illuminati Wrote: iPhones are the best buddy. Way better then any other phone. I'm not going to lie and say they're terrible, I currently own both the current gen iPod and the Galaxy Note 3 and they're both good devices. I just dislike how behind apple is, they keep remaking the same thing over and over and people keep throwing their money at them. iOS 7 was nothing but a graphics change along with adding a few features that android had already had for years now. Apple was top dog for years now - android/samsung is making a quick comeback now though. I agree that Android was shit during 4.0 and below, but the new 4.4 OS is just a work of art. And when Google finally finishes creating Android 5.0 - I think Android will bypass iOS pretty quickly, unless they do something new. Now don't get me wrong, I'm still a fan of apple - just not their phones. I've been around with them since the first iPhone. I LOVE their macs, seeing that I develop many different things and I need reliability and ease of use. Macs provide that for me. However, I'm a very creative person and I like fooling with my phone a lot, You could probably call me a power user. I enjoy editing the layout of my phone, COMPLETELY overhauling the original layout without having to jailbreak my device etc... It's more open source and that's what I like. On the other hand, the iPhone is perfect when it comes to business. It's easy to use, simple, sleek and fast. Siri is also a great feature and works really well. So for someone who's not so creative or doesn't use their phone for anything besides the usual social networking and communicating, then the iPhone is right for them. RE: Google Glass - Mnemosyne - 02-17-2014 Google glass not worth it. The design is not good to be worn in public. Moreover google glass means your privacy is gone. People will have all the information on you with just a click on their on glass. RE: Google Glass - Skitstep - 02-17-2014 (02-17-2014, 05:33 PM)Mnemosyne Wrote: Google glass not worth it. I'll be getting the consumer version, which hopefully will be about 200-300$. RE: Google Glass - pandandesign - 02-18-2014 I personally think Google Glass is too expensive. Who would actually buy something like that since I don't see the reason getting one. I think having a nice smartphone and a good computer is good enough for me. Plus, I don't feel the need of wearing one when I wear glasses anyways. I don't think I will ever buy one. RE: Google Glass - 187 - 02-18-2014 I saw some guy using it on the web. It looked pretty sick. RE: Google Glass - Sintation - 02-18-2014 No. It is stupid. Everything I can do with that I can google on my iPhone. Worthless imo |
