Just because he can get another girl doesn't necessarily mean he will feel what he feels now with this girl. He definitely won't feel the same as those lingering thoughts would not be there. A person can always learn to love. A person can always learn to love. That is a proper point. This being said I don't think the OP is even debating on leaving her. I think he just wants help coping and finding positive ways on how to approach feeling more secure/better. You do bring an interesting aspect to the table though for sure. RE: I was cheated on... - Mafia - 01-09-2014 I know how it feels, I was cheated on in my last relationship. I felt like I was going to marry her. We both moved to the US (since we went out since we was 15 at school) and then I found out she was cheating on me. Which ruined me. But fuck her. It's their loss they screwed it up. But yours was only for the first few weeks do it's not the same. Since she was faithful got the rest of it. So don't go too harsh. I would forgive her. RE: I was cheated on... - Kureo - 01-09-2014 The fact that she openly admitted it to you shows one plain thing, that she does not want to lose you. She also took a chance and gambled the very thing she wouldn't want to lose only to strengthen it. I would say that it says how much she cares about you and the relationship that the two of you share. (01-09-2014, 09:09 AM)Grin Wrote: A person can always learn to love. I honestly don't believe that. RE: I was cheated on... - Zurchi - 01-09-2014 (01-09-2014, 08:43 AM)Love Wrote: Is there something you are insecure about in your relationship? The reason it keeps coming up is probably the fear that it will happen again. Your relationship will hardly ever grow until you face your fears and begin to trust the girl we are speaking about. Not really. It just wonders acrods my mind and I get sad... I am in love with this girl. RE: I was cheated on... - Kureo - 01-09-2014 (01-09-2014, 10:37 PM)Zurchi Wrote: Not really. Don't let the bad things of the past ruin for your future. RE: I was cheated on... - True2marie - 01-10-2014 I am sorry to hear your girlfriend cheated on you. If she's flaky and still in love with her ex, I'd move on. However, if she told you in order to be honest and set a better foundation for your relationship, I stick it out. RE: I was cheated on... - Kaylah - 01-10-2014 You should dump her. I believe in the saying: Once a cheater, always a cheater. If she respected you, she wouldn't have cheated on you. I guess you could give the relationship another shot if you love her too much to let her go, but if the cheating continues, you're disrespecting yourself by continuing the relationship and you will never truly be happy. I don't believe that based on personal experience, and its not true love if they forced to marriage in the first place. Its the same as brainwashing, they aren't allowed to break up, they aren't allowed to be unhappy. So they cannot be or do certain things as it would be the "wrong" thing to do. People who marry out of free will doesn't have these restrains. |
