What exactly is your problem?
He posted a site in which he thinks is helpful for beginners to learn coding.
You are no "God" of coding, and should not tell people what they can/cannot do to learn something.

I recommend this, I was not a beginner when I started using it but it's still fun because of those projects you can do, I could apply and review what I learned in the past. Sharpen the saw.

Download VB and get on Youtube. Honestly other than taking a class or reading a book - it's the best way. And be sure to experiment and mess around!
