BF4 was 30 GB. On a 1TB drive, you can have 33 copies of BF3. And most games aren't that big.
Not to mention that games have always been huge relative to other programs, in relation to available space.

Yeah I know, but I'm saying it won't take long to develop those hardware, because big companies are also searching for this, google and facebook have loads of petabytes of data going into their system everyday. What do you think they prefer? installing lots of drives, or installing a big one everyday?
I hope they continue developing as fast as possible

I actually happen to know Google prefers multiple drives. You can keep better backups, and one disk failing doesn't break the system entirely, or even close to significantly.

2TB SSD, that's crazy. I bet the price is as well, I think most people would just get 4 x 1TB SSDs (Non-PCIe) and just use RAID 10.
I doubt we'll be seeing PB drives, I personally don't think we'll see them in our lifetimes although no one knows. AFAIK, 6TB drives are only just on the horizon and they use Helium which isn't cheap nor is there lots of it. Not to mention, PB would require a ton of platters meaning the HDD would be like a foot tall (lol).
Server manufacturers/providers will always have multiple drives, then just utilize RAID for reliable and more performance.
