RE: Most you've ever spent on a meal - Infinity - 05-25-2024 I've probably spent anywhere from $60 to $70 for myself. It was all you can heat high quality meat. It was worth it lol! RE: Most you've ever spent on a meal - Oni - 05-26-2024 Most I'll personally spend is $50-75 on special occasions. Usually enough for filet/lobster. Much more than that is just a waste of money. Never did that again. Ah for a girl.. Did it work? RE: Most you've ever spent on a meal - shleeb - 06-06-2024 about $1000 after tip for 2 people. cool experience, never again though RE: Most you've ever spent on a meal - devintos - 06-07-2024 $300 at a steak house. Food was great, but the fact knowing I paid so much over what it would cost to make at home hit me. I was happy to tip half of that. It's really the service and how you feel after eating something good that makes the experience, I think. Otherwise, I'm fine with takeout or delivery...

I'm guessing this isn't something you'd regularly do, so maybe it's ok to overpay once in a while! I bet the food was amazing all the same. Japanese A5 Wagyu. pretty amazing and always wanted to try it so I saved up RE: Most you've ever spent on a meal - Jiggly - 06-12-2024 (06-11-2024, 04:21 PM)shleeb Wrote:(06-11-2024, 04:11 PM)Jiggly Wrote: [quote="shleeb" pid='1377481' dateline='1717696354'] Ah I should have guessed. What did you have with it? RE: Most you've ever spent on a meal - Michael Scofield - 06-17-2024 Not a common occurrence, but about $350/head for a specific restaurant I visit about once a year. No regrets. It is good food, good service, and it's kind of an experience you get with the meal. |
