I don't think gravedigging works on tutorial threads. I think it's only for conversation threads that died out already.

yeha brsos this doesnt work anymore really coll way to do it is to obstruct the good ole Elf64_Ehdr struct and Elf64_Phdr struct using JIT sprays

also, as of xnu14, the kernel no longer accepts boot arguments, therefore that key combination will not work.
And if the owner is smart enough to turn on filevault, then the system wont have access to anything useful as it is all AES encrypted with the user password.

1) Hold Command + S key while booting to enter terminal

rm /var/db/.AppleSetupDone
Reboot.
The OOB sequence will begin, and you can create a new admin account. As a bonus, it will even show as you own the computer.
The simplicity of this tutorial is unsurprising being that you can reset anyone's password if you have the install disk anyway.
The process is slightly different for a hackintosh, if there's interest, I might make a tutorial on it.
