Should I remain adamant? Have u had similiar experiences?
Did you try to peb shoes? I would say that if you tried to peb something heavy, with Nike it’s a hit or miss as sometimes certain reps won’t care and will process the refund, but other reps will cross check weights. I would say push it, but your chances may not be as high.

Failed! Incredible, I thought it was easier but indeed it ended up being difficult and they carried a proper investigation with weights and all, and tried to insist on the phone and via chat but did not get anything out of it.

Will try again with an aged account in future. Would you say DNA is easier on heavy items? I know technically the answer is yes but  my only worry is that DPD is the carrier and could be boring to deal with them (if nike even opens the investigation).

Darn that sucks to hear...
Yes, I would say DNA is a much better option, as I have had repeated success with it. As far as aged accounts, I would only SE under $400 with a fresh account to reduce the most amounts of hiccups (instant refund I believe) and delayed investigations. Here in the US I have never experienced a carrier investigation encounter. Good job for persisting though, at least you tried your all.
