I agree. But I'd wait till next year for a more valuable SE. I believe a new set of hardware might be released by steam.

so did you tell them that the carry case was empty and there was no steam deck in the box? I'm not too sure what I'm going to say yet

received the dispatch email this morning from Steam.
it's getting delivered by Parcelforce, so can't claim DNA as they don't leave it on the doorstep and will take photos of it being in your hand at the door.
looks like MEB is the way to go for this one

Mine got shipped today, from NL to italy and they used GLS. Only problem is that ik the courier if they open an investigation that's a little problem..lmk how it goes with meb cause i will probably stick with it too

UPDATE: received my META order (1K€)
Gonna hit them with PP MEB because I think that MEB/EM with Meta directly is going to be a waste of time because there is 3 boxes ! (kinda sus)
F*ck them UPS for deciding to not deliver and waste like 5days due to holidays !
Context, it should have been delivered the 23th but the guy decided to update the order with "Couldn't find the address number" while on the tracking is black on white the exact addy with the phone number ! (after 23th it's holidays here so you see...)
In my understanding, If I was SE'ing META directly I shouldn't turn on the headset during the process to avoid detection.
But in this case I'm going with PP Claim normally I can turn on the device ?
It shouldn't mess with the claim bcz they just doesn't respond ....
