RE: Is it fair to ever take one's life? - Customer - 10-27-2013 If someone were to take my family or friends life, or self defense then it would be okay for me at least. I wouldn't lose one bit of sleep. RE: Is it fair to ever take one's life? - Soup - 10-29-2013 (10-25-2013, 11:59 PM)McNuggets_Jr Wrote: If someone makes fun of you You could do it I guess..... I suppose I can agree with this depending on the extreme. If it were as bad as the bullying that led up to high school shootings or suicide. So you would solve a case of murder by committing a murder? Wouldn't that just evolve the problem even further? RE: Is it fair to ever take one's life? - Demonic - 10-31-2013 In my opinion to take someone else's life if perfectly within reason if the person who's life you take gives you consent to perform the task. I know many people who would gladly have their life taken. If any of them asked me to do the task and gave me the means to do so I'd do it. If the person truly sees no brightness to their future and they've tried to seek help then if they wish it upon themselves then who am I do deny it? RE: Is it fair to ever take one's life? - Kureo - 10-31-2013 (10-31-2013, 02:49 AM)Demonic Wrote: In my opinion to take someone else's life if perfectly within reason if the person who's life you take gives you consent to perform the task. You are the one that should tell them to last for a few more years, depending on their age. If a 16 year old girl claims that her life is pointless and she just want to die, then 99% of the cases they are just thinking that for a year or two. Which means that if you took their life, then you would have wasted a meaningful like. Of course. But if after years of trying to help them they still feel the same way then I don't have the right to deny them the peace they ant. Depending on how you look at it, yes you can say that. But there's also equality to take place. Do something to them, something happens to you in return. An eye for an eye so it can be justified both ways. RE: Is it fair to ever take one's life? - Logic_HF - 11-01-2013 Well, no taking a life is not justified by any means. Taking away everything from someone, under any means. It's never fair, and I do not agree upon any type of murder, even if the person was a horrible soul. But the harsh reality is, it's life. Darwinism didn't get to where it is today without controversy, but the idea has a lot of truth to it. Life is a challenge, and if you can't adapt, and live in it. Well..you just won't last, it's unfair and unjust. But it's the only way for this world to keep spinning, for us to still live our lives. Sorry, back on topic. No it's never justified, not even in self defense. But it's down to that person, if they believe they're still of importance, then by all means, defend. RE: Is it fair to ever take one's life? - Abc - 11-06-2013 I do anything for saving my loved ones, or survive. But you have to do to others what they want you to do to them. Probably would have not killed anyone, but you never know what happens when you have to defend yourself. Depends on what kind of person you are, you can easily caluclate a battle with someone and het more or less the result you expected. Anyhow, I do agree with you on the first part. |
