It will show that it was received by Amazon, it works up to 1k euro I think. Some persons that did it, didn't have any problems of getting a refund after 30 days. To get the QR label, change your address on the address book to a German one and write to Amazon support to give you DHL QR code label.

Thank you so much for this. The thing is that I am based in the UK and usually those deliveries will either be Royal Mail or DPD. Any ideas?

This method is for the return. So it doesn't matter of how it gets delivered to you, but it matters that when you click to return it, it should be a DHL QR label return or as I said change it to a German address to get one and then write to support.
