Generally speaking tho, them asking for pictures is good. If you have the elements they want to see, show them all the pics they want. If not, please be more specific about your concerns & we will help. Failed so far with fragrancedirect, they wanted pictures of the delivery box after the rep told me the box was dry, i sent the pics of the seperate perfume tin which i splashed with water, rep replied ''Unfortunately, based on the information my colleague told me, we can't do anything'' Should I make a new account and file another claim under the same order number/pictures?, think I got unlucky with a dumb rep who doesn't know what they're doing RE: Help with Perfume Shop - Jhxxhdudjshd - 09-17-2023 (09-17-2023, 06:33 PM)ehuss7 Wrote:(09-14-2023, 10:45 AM)Jhxxhdudjshd Wrote:(09-14-2023, 06:32 AM)ehuss7 Wrote: So do you drop the bottle from 10 feet high or just crack a corner with a hammer? I'd probably return the perfume and try with a different website as long as you can find someone else that sells it. But then once you pushed it hard, provided pictures of the damage etc... How do you ever justify returning them unscathed lmao? I know, I know, there's 99.9% chance the warehouse guys will never notice, link your return to the claim... Yet if they do... Now it has become personal, that stubborn rep could (f)actually fuck you over For the lulz only, I'd love to hear some of yall best excuses in this scenario. The rep 100% did fuck me over , Think of this realistically. If the perfume tin is made from metal and sealed with the broken perfume inside, the actually delivery cardboard box wouldn't be soaked in perfume (which is what the rep is saying) RE: Help with Perfume Shop - Jhxxhdudjshd - 09-17-2023 (09-17-2023, 08:47 PM)EdenSlate Wrote:(09-17-2023, 07:04 PM)Jhxxhdudjshd Wrote: I'd probably return the perfume and try with a different website as long as you can find someone else that sells it.I mean, the initial claim is rather trivial, insignificant broken bottles... My usual reply to this (which is a valid concern) is that returns are usually automated and just a button you press on the website that will start the returns process. You don't have to go crawling back to the rep and ask for them to manually process a return. Like you say, the people dealing with returns are not going to be linked with the customer service people dealing with complaints. Personally, I just don't care and if they did question it, I'd just say I bought the same product from multiple websites and mixed them up. I doubt the rep could even do much if they somehow linked your return with the failed SE although I have no experience with that and I'm just guessing. Cheap ones require some slight human interaction. Yea the "mixed up couple orders" is good, pretty obfuscating. Not to mention, they wouldnt bother suing for couple hundred $. I'm a bit hesitant to send them as I'm not sure if they're trying to catch me out here. I mean, the photos I sent were pretty clear. I replied back to the email saying that the last time I handled the product I hurt myself and don't feel comfortable handling it again and reiterated that the evidence I sent through already should be more than clear. But they seemed to just disregard that email and just insist that I send through more photos. What did you SE from libertylondon? they only do expensive perfume it seems like. Also ,did they require pictures or just straight refund based on your word the perfumes were broken? |
