Successful! Went very smoothly expect for one minor scare when the CS rep had to open the shipping box but didn't care to check anything further than that. I decided to wait to order/return around Black Friday and just blend in with the sheer amount of shoppers, and that seemed to have been the right play. Did you seal the box using a heat press?
I know it seem like a very generic question, but I don't know where to find decent wraps and and a way to seal the box to near OEM perfection. Sometimes, the box will have special manufacture tear tabs that is hard to replicate. Just wanted to ask for advice

Nope, luckily, the laptop I ordered wasn't specially crafted like a certain fruit company's, just regular taped.  Even if it were, you could try to remove the peel away tab as carefully as possible, even just damaged enough where it doesn't look overtly opened, and use double sided tape to reseal it. As, all they really look for any obvious tampering on the box itself. I did this with the security tape that lost it's adhesive when I used the heat gun to remove it and it worked just fine. If that doesn't work, some security stickers are sold on aliexpress or ebay. I got an entire roll of ASUS security tape off ebay, it looks and acts like the OEM tape.

I'm sure someone else with more experience resealing those types of boxes could chine in as well.
