I will try to update here if I remember.

Thanks, sounds good.

Where might I find a list of acronyms used here? I'm not familiar with some such as ROD and FTIDV3...

I picked them up just by googling "[Acronym] meaning sinister.li" and was able to find threads of people asking what they meant lol

edit: I think mothered's site has explanations of a lot of them as well. It's archived on the Wayback Machine.

When I did the toothbrush they did requested to send back to them they just send me a new one.

You're 100% sure Phillips is ROD?

ROD? Looked it up and couldn't find anything about it... still trying to figure out all the acronyms lol
I'm located in Canada, but I've heard FTID doesn't work, for example I've seen mothered say so on the forum and in his blog. Also, for your toothbrush case, they sent you a label and stuff, and you didn't do anything and they still sent it?

Just wanna give my two cents: I'm pretty sure the way they handle things in Canada is different. FTID could work, but I've seen many people having the same experience where they'll send you a label but won't care if you actually send it back or not (advance replacement). I got an advance replacement for the Prestige 9900, DNA'd it & then got another one shipped out. They did also ask me to send the old one back, but that was a couple months ago, they haven't reached out whatsoever.

Did you just get a handle? What was the reason for a warranty claim

How did it go? Was it a success

Yeah it was a success, I did it twice, first time was super simple and they would ship out the device and expect you to send one back, the second time round, which was about two weeks later, they requested the device sent back first. Both worked and it was only the handle sent.

I think you need to do more research dude, why would sending them an empty envelope give you a free toothbrush.
