Since its the main postal service of Aus I doubt they'd impose any fines on him. I mean he obviously remembers both packages being delivered. And my friend signing both packages. So I'm really not sure how to play this out RE: Trying to SE a bunch of PC parts (Postie came knocking on my door) - SenorSpook - 08-08-2023 (08-08-2023, 05:18 AM)Fukinchino Wrote:(08-08-2023, 01:31 AM)Roadman Wrote: It's up to you. As long as they have no evidence besides the drivers word, you’re just an innocent victim who’s had their package get lost. I’d be furious if my package that was intended as a gift for a friend didn’t arrive and now the shipping company and the company i ordered from are giving me shit. I said no to both, but he did mention that he gave a pretty accurate description of my friends figure to his boss. last thing i'd want is for his boss to be knocking on my door looking for my friend making enquiries and such. Since there was no threat to notify police or such at this point I would say you’re fine. |
