Tried myself today. Doesn't work, the rep doesn't  have the button and wants to do a reschedule of the delivery. Will try it tomorrow.

they only get the 'button' after 24hrs? they always refer my case to the investigation department, citing because of value/DNA and said they have no options to do so.

i know some of them lie to get us off their backs though

Yeah, like some time ago my friend had spoken with one of the Amazon Indian reps and he said that he only sees the button after 24 hours have passed after it got delivered.

Makes sense.

The nature of the DNA triggers an Investigation a lot more often than not.

They ask you for a police report? How aged was your account and *roughly* how expensive was the item?

The item was a B550 motherboard with a price of 160 euro. The account was newly created, with no orders, only the motherboard. No, it would be funny if they would ask for a police report of this price item. As far as I know, you can go up to 300-400 euros item for DNA/EB shipped and sold by Amazon. It doesn't work for Apple items because they would really ask for a PR.

I was thinking of DNA Iphone but I am not sure if I should or should not. Amazon DE.

They will request a police report for that. If you are willing to get one, then you can try.

What are the consequences of that? would you personally do that?

There is no consequences, they are doing this because not all people are willing to go and fill the police report online/ or in person, And there are time that even you fill the police report, it could not fit for their standards. But I didn't have any experience with police reports.
