I am planning to do the same thing, never SE'd amazon with this address, account or card. So I guess it should work.

Which country are you SEing?

All the best

@mothered

So I spun a story and had a lengthy conversation with chat support who ended up escalating me to an urgent care team(or something similar) that would respond in 24 hours.

Got this email today "One-time password verification adds extra security to your deliveries as the password is only available in your delivery email....there fore were are not able to issue a replacement or refund on this order". They had called prior to the delivery asking for wifi password, and then my 4 digits of my phone number, and I wasn't home so I didn't think much of it. Retroactively, maybe not answering the call is better all together

Regardless of that fact, I'm going to push the point that the picture they took doesn't look like my apartment lobby(it does) and that regardless of whether they called me or not, my mother went to check on the packages only half an hour later to find nothing. Also something about how I figured OTP/signature would mean an item of such expense would be delivered straight to our apartment door insteAD OF THE lobby and as a result they are still liable. The one time pass word is meaningless if I verify, I'm away from home, and that OTP is not used with the person actually designated to pick it up.

what yall think? Any advice.

I intend to continue to this convo with a chat person over the email. Is it fucked from here pretty much and what are yalls recommendation? Im not gonna ease up on this on for the time being.

Summarize- amz driver called, and asked to verify last 4 digits of phone number, said they were delivering. I didn't think much of it. Requested refund through chat. Chat escalated to next level team who decided 24 hours later that due to OTP being used, a refund can't be done. Except , they called me while I was at work, and my mother "didn't find the packages" 30 min later, and there is wiggle room despite an OTP as it wasn't used properly...hopefully.

Plz help lol. I talk to em tonight

So it should work for you as well.

But be aware that this might lead to an ofm warning
Whats an ofm warning?

@mothered

Update. Did this SE twice with 1k value and 2K value around the same timeframe. Amazon chat support is extremely flippant and I got immediately transferred twice to someone who by default denies the DNA claim due to 'OTP' despite whether or not OTP was actually used. For example, one of the orders, the driver didn't use a password verification or signature and just dropped it in FRONT of a busy city apartment door and the chat assistant used the same excuse to deny it.

For 1K order, am in the process of pushing the claim through phone support, as it seems for this value, chat support is useless. For this order,  AMZ support is saying that if I were to do a PR, they would start the refund process. Does this seem like the SE is still live?

As it goes, this DNA is still ongoing. Will post new updates. But so far not smooth Sad

What was their exact wording?

Be precise.

RE: AMZN DNA LIMIT - exluzemba - 06-16-2023

@mothered I recently did a DNA on Amazon and I filled out a Police report like they asked, now they are saying they can’t validate the pr

“Thank you for providing us with crime reference number.
At this time, we're unable to validate your report with the police department. Please contact us after July 26,2023 and we’ll review our options. Once August 2,2023 passes, we're no longer able to assist.
Thank you for your understanding.”

What else can I do?

RE: AMZN DNA LIMIT - nasrat86 - 06-16-2023

like mothered said , if u do not have any recent DNA i feel like you could go higher than that.
What could happen is :
-either they are gonna refund you in a few days or might file a report

but do not even bother to try all these ftid bullshit atleast not with amazon

RE: AMZN DNA LIMIT - desihack - 06-16-2023

i have been looking for a new way to process refunds.

there has to be a better way than police reports. too many people use PR method so now they are getting smarter about looking into the police stations and finding their main number

now dont get me wrong. i have done successful refunds for upto 10k even on brand new accounts but not without heavy SE for 2-3 days.

i dont like doing PR. could you imagine the repurc?

anyone have any insight?
