If in the UK you can do it online. Dont go too much into details only what you have to. The key to SE'ing is only offer the bare minimum in terms of key facts. Less chance to be caught in a lie then. As far as the police are concerned you are a horrified individual pissed off and trying to get a refund for the empty airpods case you received. How dare they!
