No It doesn't. Refrain from posting misleading Information.

The broken pair did not come out of Amazon's Inventory, hence they will not register when the return Is scanned and checked by their Inwards goods department.

i'm trying to swap a dead pair that i got secondhand but these were ordered from amaz0n and the dude told me he managed to get a r3fund without returning them.

Same thing for me except my pair wasn’t from Amazon.

I just planned on putting my old headphones in the new box, and sending it back for a ‘legit’ return. You don’t think that will work?

I think they have a barcode sticker on the headphones out of the box so maybe I could stick that on my old headphones?

just received the headphones. upon inspecting, ignore the sticker comment.

I mean i was even considering just sending my old headphones back but with the new earcups on it, just to try and make it seem plausible that they are "new". not sure if that would make a difference or not.

Just buy a pair from Amazon Warehouse (they even have some new pairs with a slight damage to the packaging only). So even if they check the serial number they won’t be able to accuse you since who bought them before you may have swapped them and made the return.

That's fine.

The purchase would've been deducted from their Inventory.

so you think i should buy a second pair from amazon, and then i can return both the real pair i just bought, and the broken one in place of the "legit" order?

i EB'd some airpods and instead of giving me a full r3fund, they've sent me a replacement pair for fr33. on my account it comes up as a new order but with £0. i assume when i go to return and get a r3fund, i pick the original order which i paid for? i'm just worried they'll come back and say the serial numbers don't match or something

Just get on live chat and explain the situation to the rep and they should sort it out for you.
