You can simply say that the Item Is a gift and you cannot afford to lose money on It If It doesn't arrive. Of course, make the enquiry as another person. I'm not sure if TOS change from country to country for most businesses, as I haven't had a reason to check, but it doesn't hurt to check the US website if you see a lot of vouches for a place that claims they're not liable on their website for your country - that's an easy comparison that might make it easier to decide how to proceed. In Levi's case, their US website TOS state the following: "All items purchased on the Website are made pursuant to a shipping contract. The risk of loss for all items purchased passes to you upon delivery of the items to the carrier. You are responsible for filing any claims with carriers for damaged and/or lost shipments." Despite this, my experiences with Levi's have not followed this - they were very quick to refund immediately in chat when I claimed the packages did not arrive. I consistently see people DNA Levi's with little to not pushback. Doesn't mean they won't enforce the TOS with you, of course - just my experiences! Best of luck whatever you decide! I guess I will do a PEB on one of the packages, since I only want 2 of the items, if those 2 items came in 1 of the 3 parcel, maybe I can DNA that parcel only. I will keep you guys updated.(02-10-2023, 10:32 AM)izzy777 Wrote:(02-10-2023, 01:43 AM)mothered Wrote: It's not about the company disclosing the Information, but rather researching their terms & conditions.Sometimes I find hard to have a concrete answer on their website, is there any other way to confirm that? for exemple, I can call them asking them if they are liable for that, because, I never ordered on-line and I am afraid of getting scammed bla bla bla RE: LEVIS: DNA? - mothered - 02-10-2023 (02-10-2023, 02:38 PM)izzy777 Wrote: Thats weird, when TOS say something and then they do the opposite. You've got the upper hand. After I got my Levis packages delivered, I contacted live chat and talked to a really weird agent. I told the agent that there was 2 pieces missing from my total order, which was delivered in 4 packages. The agent then told me that they can see want they pack and have proof of everything (my order was fullfilled in multiple Levis stores across the country, so I guess they have cctv there). Then I was told that I had to write an e-mail about the occurred, because they need that in e-mail. I dont know what to do now, probably just legit return... I did not write any e-mail yet.
