Don't Fitbit items get locked after a SE?

Correct, they've been locking devices for quite a while now.

Im hoping since it is a google pixel it will be more challenging for them to block it rather than just a Fitbit item. Idk i'm going to test it out, hopefully it works. I also considered asking for a replacement then refunding the locked one but not sure if i could run into trouble there once they realize they recieved the locked watch that I SE'd. Any thoughts?

also I seen a few posts that were fairly recent where Fitbit did not lock the items so im wondering what causes them to decide whether to lock them or not

DNA on Nike is pretty easy, I have had always good success, though remember that if you get the annoying rep who wants to start an investigation first say that you need the replacement/refund fast and stuff, if it still doesn't work, refuse and say you'll look in the matter yourself and you should be able to retry till you success.
If they start the investigation you can always cancel saying your mom/family hid it, but I wouldn't suggest to try DNA'ing again after cancelled investigation as you've stated you had the package, either let the investigation go or try to ftid v3 them

Let us know the outcome.

Too risky - If they thoroughly check the return, they'll Instantly Identify what you've done.

Okay makes sense. Well, so far it looks like they will be sending me another one and are no longer doing full refunds for DNA's, at least in my area. Which is no biggie to me, I'm just going to have to resell both on my own which is okay for two 300$ items.

They told me that they approved my request but wanted me to wait one more day just to make sure it doesnt show up. However they approved for a replacement. The lady said they no longer do refunds for DNA and it is not a possibility. So i guess I will just call later today or tomorrow to tell them to send the other one over since it is approved already with a case number attached to it
