@rasco1235. I would find a company that doesn't check cctv if there are any for you in the UK. If not you could WIR (Manufacture Error Version) which I learned from the website @mothered has with tons of info on the subject.

Good idea, don't know why I didn't think to use Amazon. Although I would be ordering from Amazon.de. Any issues with the return or you got it right away? Also, will it work with a fresh account?
Personally never refunded a phone from Amazon but I've heard from other threads here .de is the hardest to do and they block IMEI UK and De both block.

Which Amazon? UK or else?

Amazon.de but it's being shipped to Switzerland so I don't have to worry about blocked numbers. However, I never done a refund before so not sure if it's worth all that effort and go through the hassle. I also don't have an amazon.de account so it will look a bit strange.

Agreed.

I've yet to receive reports of IMEI blacklists by Samsung, nor have I personally experienced It.

Thanks for the replies, DPD is delivering the phone soon, they say they dont need signiture just photo of door open, I'm in a flat so could ask them to leave it in the entrance, potential DNA or should I box them? @mothered any thoughts? Which one would be a easier method ? Thanks🤝

If you provide the delivery Instructions as said, you'll be held liable for the lost shipment.

Boxing would be the better option.

There'd be no need for dry Ice, just add extra packing In the return.

.de absolutely does not block IMEI! At least they didn't a month ago, maybe something changed, but I'm pretty sure you're wrong here. But .de being hard is true, that is if you don't speak german, as in some cases you may be in a position where a certain department can only speak in english to you via email, and they won't even bother looking at your claim properly and will just send you the same email over and over, completely ignoring what you're saying. But if you do speak german, you can call or chat with all departments and then the SE is significantly easier

Hi everyone so it was going smoothly however samsung sent me this.
Thank you for correspondence and upon the investigation of our team, we only received an empty box and please see images below for your reference.
The images they sent are the empty box with the different tape as I did boxing method. How should I proceed with this one? @mothered any thoughts. Or anyone else

Don't mention tampering, It may seem obvious of your Intention.

Tell them you've returned the Item accordingly, and ask them to explain why the package contains different tape In the Image - as you did not return It as such.
