Three countries covered US, UK and Canada and fair prices. You're welcome. I'll see what other services are available. RE: Online SMS number for receiving messages - sinisterlee - 02-06-2023 Tried a service called vyke as they had good prices, good rating and countries I was interested in. However the number did not work for receiving a message and from searching it has been used a lot for spam calling. As well as that you have to give a working phone number to be able to use the service. So definitely don't recommend it. Buying a sim or e-sim is probably the best way for long term usage. Agree but no, thought it more hassle than it is worth. You have to email them, you cant do it from the app. RE: Online SMS number for receiving messages - mothered - 02-08-2023 (02-08-2023, 11:31 AM)sinisterlee Wrote: Agree but no, thought it more hassle than it is worth. Is emailing from another device/gateway that much of an Inconvenience? Would have to create a new burner email. As the purporse of the sim is somewhat dubious I prefer to take the 5 euros as a loss than to potentially risk any demasking of my identity. RE: Online SMS number for receiving messages - sinisterlee - 02-09-2023 Will give them a one star review at least. Will try the other services and if they are good, will update here. RE: Online SMS number for receiving messages - sinisterlee - 02-10-2023 One message came through out of two. So the service partially works. Regardless the number provided by vyke is definitely not fresh due to not receiving an sms and there being evidence the same number was used to spam people with marketing calls.
