That doesn't tell you anything.

Ask them to elaborate on their findings.

Nope, first time I do a SE with Meta, I strongly suspect it's generic and we will probably see other people receive this.
I'll try to argue with them and get somehing other than generic e-mails.

Given It's your first time SEing Meta, It's definitely generic/copy & paste.

Yes do exactly that.

Be sure to request an explanation/elaboration for their following messages:

Yeah likely bullshit

So thats 1 in France and 1 in the UK that were performed correctly but were shut down in the same way, a pattern is beginning to emerge....

Do you live in a big France city ?

Don't want to jump to conclusion, but it does feel like the end of it.

RE: Meta Quest 2 Fail? - Mikuballo - 01-29-2023

It seems like europe/UK seems to be getting harder and harder for Meta, currently have an EB going in canada, hopefully its successful

Spot on.

This was back in December on a successful refund -

Thank you so much for your patience. I know this has been a long and stressful process for you.

I have refunded your order -redacted- for you. It can take up to 7 business days for your financial institution to process the funds on their side. If you do not receive the funds in that time please reach out to them.

We do not recommend placing another online order with us as if this were to happen again we would not be able to process and refund and would ask you to work with your local authorities as it could be something happening to others in the area also.

- I'm merely speculating but maybe Police reports are indeed becoming the norm now which is unfortunate, nothing more to do than wait for further developments. I would consider myself lucky to have benefited at least once!

@mothered that order the courier legitimately lost in transit was indeed eventually refunded, although it can't be considered a successful SE. I'm disappointed but hey I suppose once is better than not at all.

No need for disappointment.

Regardless of the circumstances Involved, you've been refunded - which was the objective of the SE. So In that sense, It did succeed.
