@mothered Is it possible to do damaged package method and then a DNA for the next of items bought ? won't it be suspicious if I do both methods ?

Furthermore, I wasn't at home during the deliver, the one book is staying at the post office now. Which method can I do for this one ? Or should I get it without refund and do easily a DNA for the next items in process of delivery ?

This is why you don't order 40 books because it gets split up into many orders. Same thing with clothes. You can mitigate it somewhat by picking the fast shipping possible but your better off making multiple smaller orders with like 10 books.
But since you already did it  you can say one package was DNA and the other was damaged or wrong books.
Send back a bunch of books you have laying around and say they sent you the wrong ones.

If all else fails use the method with a 80%+ success rate. The almighty Chargeback my personal favorite.

And read mothered's blog posts! He puts a lot of work into them!

Thank you for your response !
Your chargeback option is the possible option in bank right ? I bought it with Revolut and don’t know if it will be easy to do a chargeback with them.

Don't hit two SEs In close timing - It will raise suspicion.

You've needlessly complicated matters.

Always make sure to carry out your SE correctly - you should've been home to accept the delivery.

What's the weight of the book?

RE: PR and name - Gianni01 - 01-31-2023

@mothered I've just taken the book at the post office. It's 1,80 kg, what can I do with that by waiting for doing a DNA for the next week with the other books that I'm going to receive ?

Hit the wrong Item received method.

@mothered it will be too late now because the time of delivery is 2 days generally and I don't arrive to find a cheap book with the same weight. So it doesn't worth to do this WI method.

I think that I'm going to try by telling that some pages are damaged and will do a FTID or boxing or trying a chargeback with revolut, what do you think?

If you act on It today or tomorrow at the latest, you'll be fine.

And the wrong Item doesn't need to be a book - any stock Item (preferably In the same category) will do.

I don't support the so-called FTID.

As for a chargeback, It should be your last resort when all else fails, which leaves boxing as the choice of method.

Thanks for your advices @mothered I'm thinking about that because in the same category I don't see anything else than books and heavy books are dictionary which are in the same price than the one book to SE.

But if I do the dry ice method this Friday, do you think it will be fine with the weekend to evaporate ? I use my real details and I will be frightened to fail in this method and get some problems with smoke at the post office. Should I put the dry ice in the original box and a second box in the original box to avoid smoke ? or Can I use an other box than original ?

If you're concerned with storage time, do It on Monday.

Place cardboard around the dry Ice.

@mothered thank you for all ! can you just confirm me if it's ok please ?

So I'm using the original box and insert an other box inside with dry ice that I'll buy it at the shop 30min or 1 hour before entering at the post office to return the box, right ?

The seller will receive it on the next day, it's perfect right ? to not let any vapor inside ?

Should I put exactly 1,80 kg (weight of book) of dry ice or can I put 2 kg or a little more of that ?

Thanks for your answer which help me a lot !

Correct.

When the seller receives It, the dry Ice would've sublimated (turned from Its solid form to gas), hence there'll be no trace of Its existence.

Allow a little more for storage and transit time.
