Same thing happened to me Police Dept thought I was nuts and said that's Amazons issue. I asked if anyone had every called up about this before officer said no.
Tell Amazon what happened and just be a belligerent asshole pest.

Most Police Departments you can't just call an ask for confirmation about anything, no usually you have to walk in and pay, or order by phone or internet, but there's a fee and form filled out.  Amazon doesn't do that.

So what are next step if he wants success?

They call the police station and confirm the police report was filed. They have done this to me personally, and I also know many people who experience the same.

What was the report for? Meaning what action or crime was committed?  And where did they get the number from to call?

I can confirm that they say the do, but they don't actually do it.  And that most Law Enforcement Agencies will not tell anyone that over the phone, without filing out a form and paying the fee.

As long as the method works, it doesn' t matter, right?

I won't argue with you, if that works for you, then stick with what you know and does. I want you to succeed, no matter what. Understand that, I want to help.

What I do want you to do is becareful, you fill out a PR, that's a paper trail, not to mention falsifying a PR on top of the SE.

Simply, there are tons of places that will not give you a case number, let alone a report. So, that wouldn't be fair business practice. And depending on the method, most likely it's not a crime.

You can have success without a PR, absolutely 100%.

Contact your local PD and ask what they will do. If you don't like that answer, contact your County PD. (Ask them if anyone can just call and confirm the PR).

I understand what you are saying, you get what I'm saying? No paper trails, can't give them false information, that's worse than making up your own report. Some places allow self documenting non-criminal reports, could require a stamp or notary, or just a witness.

Big markets merely asking for a PR is not the end of the line. Especially if it's not a crime and/or not allowed or done in your area.

Just info to add to your methods. Ask or post, we will succeed. Good times!

You're misrepresenting the police, not your local fruit shop.

You cant compare FTID with RTS. If you know how to do a good RTS with SUB Method you can more or less do every store right now as long as they use DHL.
