A chargeback is something you'll have to try if amazon doesn't help you

That was Revolut
I've heard that Revolut has subpar support, but yes, at this stage it would seem that you're at the end of the road; chargeback or otherwise taking a small loss and selling the product would be your best bet. Unless someone else has a bright idea.

AFAIK, Amazon are stringent with checking returned products, so that outcome isn't suprising. DNA is usually best.

If I had known this would happen, I would not have returned the item to them, it has been with them for 8 days now and I have not received a refund Smile

when you made your FTID, did you remove the Amazon RMA (Return merchandise authorization) on the label?

+ yes you should normally receive your refund even if your account is closed, if after 2 weeks you haven't received anything it's dead

what you can do is send an email to ofm saying that you want to print an old invoice, they will unblock your account for 48 hours, during this time you call Amazon by phone (the agents will have access to your account) and you ask where your refund went

I don't know what was done with FTID, bought from a man where it always worked. But I just got a reply to my email:

Good day,

As I can see in the database, our returns department has actually not yet booked receipt of your return. However, this is not yet a cause for concern. Shipments can be on the road for over a week.

And: Our return of goods is currently reporting an increased return. Processing may therefore take longer than usual. We regret the delay and ask for your patience.

As soon as the return of the goods triggers the refund, you will be informed by e-mail. So you'll hear from us again.

We hope we could help.
We appreciate your feedback and ask you to rate your experience with our customer service today.

So as I can see, I have to wait.

It depends on your bnk. You need to write to their support wanting to make a chargeback.

That was Revolut
Easy then, click on your Amazon transaction in their app and then get help, you should see information about chargeback, write all the story and how Amazon treats you bad, then wait and after sometime you should get the money.

I’ve noticed Amazon is practically the only company to respond and fight chargebacks. Ive lost 2 of the 4 i tried with them.
But I then immediately file another chargeback or 2 or 3 on any large purchase i made in the last couple months with companies that never bother to respond so I make up for losing the chargeback with Amazon.

Every case is individual, even if they respond, like the Revolut is mainly on your side if you have enough proof and you're evidence is on point. I didn't have no problems with their chargebacks, but mainly I did them on g2a Amazon gift cards, it was working like a charm.

True, you do usually win when you fax in the paperwork and proof but I admit I sometimes get lazy and count on companies not responding to the chargeback and me winning by default.

Nah, 0 responses, today it's been 2 weeks since they got my package. I emailed them on Wednesday - still no response. I'll be doing a chargeback, I don't think I have anything else left. Apparently in the e-mail they wrote that they would return the money within 21 days of handing over the shipment to the carrier (e-mail where I got the return label), but I doubt that they will return my money after 21 days.
