Their TrustPilot is quite revealing with many customers seemingly claiming legit DNAs and having little to no response from the brand, which is why I think they'd be a great target for a Paypal dispute.
If they don't respond to PayPal disputes/claims, the SE Is as good as done - success.

Have any transactions been performed on the account?

For UA, the paypal account has been used frequently since 2014 with no SEing attempted through the dispute system. Good to give it a try for UA, you think? Just uncertain about the risks involved with UA (aside from the claim being rejected).

The account Is In very good standing and ready to go for the UA.

PayPal believes It's a legit claim, so If you treat It as such by manipulating the SE accordingly, there are no risks whatsoever.

I'm now having to make a DNA dispute on PayPal with ASOS. Would that ruin the integrity of a future UA? Naturally, I should space it out but how long would you suggest I wait to claim a UA after a PayPal dispute?

To be on the absolute safe side, hit the UA 4-5 months later.

I realize It's a long time to wait, but you must play It safe.

Just returning to this idea of a UA attempt. What's the general price limit for UA? I'm thinking of trying a different store for this method for around £10-12k.

I can't speak for every financial Institution, but given the amount you're planning to hit, do expect a thorough assessment.

What would the consequences be for a UA attempt at that scale? If I were to fail, would it just be a banned account or do you think it'd go further? I'd reduce if the risk is considerable. Would be so grateful for any insight/speculation.

Even with FTID similar value to your order, I was not granted a refund and initiated a normal return afterwards, however as advised previously wrong items purchased and then FTID could grant you refund based on "delivered tracking" in paypal case.

On the grounds they're liable for lost shipments, why not DNA Dior directly?

Do note that If PayPal responds, they tend to side with the seller based on tracking confirmation.
