Nice! I recently returned a $200+ item in target in-store with success. I think you should be fine with target tbh. Go when they are busy
Yeah I mean looking on Google looks like the busiest would be Saturday/Sunday. But I plan on returning today still busy hours but not as much as the weekend.

Go around mid morning then, like 12-1

@mothered @harlin90 so i did drop off the sealed box . Was just asked if returning cause not satisfied with the earbuds. Then he noticed box still sealed and and I added that was just a wrong purchase, wanted a different type of buds. So now just need the funds to be cleared in the bank. Will update when 100% completed.

If i were you Id pay in cash to avoid a potential rebill. Invariably someone will buy your SB'd item, open it and then have to go back to the store to get a refund. At that point if they care to check they will see that the item was a return and then they will have your bank details that they can easily rebill if they suspect they have been SB'd. I mean why take the risk when you can just pay in cash and also receive your refund instantly instead of a few days later.

Who's to say the buyer Isn't an SE'er attempting to deceive them for a refund?

I know but is already done with card. Was a trial run, for the bigger SE of tablet might go with cash.

True. Once is done is done, don't think there's much to do on their end.

You certainly could claim that and probably convince them that they cannot prove it either way but there is no denying it looks suspect. All it takes is for some hardheaded employee to follow Occam's razor and fire off a hasty rebill that will potentially be difficult to reverse. Not saying that this will happen but it can so I see no sense in not taking the extra step and paying with cash.

Correct.

The return goes through so many hands hence It's very difficult, If not Impossible, to trace It back to the original SE'er/buyer.

RE: Tablet SE in-store - mammta21 - 01-01-2023

@mothered so after the trial run at bestbuy I am for sure more confident about doing it for a tablet as well. But was considering also walmart. How is walmart with DNA for a tablet around 900$? Do they ask for PR?
