People, there is no need to worry. I have tested this program and it's safe to use. You have to enter your Gmail credentials but they will not be logged or stored. Enjoy!

The program is safe, but I would firstly recommend that you stick this in a thread, it'll run faster, and you can still support timing.
Also, I believe sending mail in VB has an asynchronous method of sending emails, look in to that.

If you want to check the code you should ask for the source or decompile it, there's plenty of decompilers. I've decompiled it and it's harmless.

He's checking to see if you've set a sending interval, however I'm not sure why it would be in a click event if he hasn't checked any conditions previously.
