Exactly right.

From memory, both Amazon and Apple have been checking sealed box returns for around 6-7 months.

So only very recently, i missed the boat then. They must have been getting hammered with the SB method, did you notice an uptick in failed SBs for Amazon around here when it kicked in ?

A lot of members were at a loss as to why the sealed box method was failing.

Best Buy tends to only check If the seals are Intact, and Target pretty much does the same.
